The Primary department takes the library skills developed in the Infants to the next level.
Every class has a library lesson each week. Here, literature appreciation and research skills are expanded on. This is mainly due to the resources available such as CD ROM and the Internet.
The Primary department is also fitted with lush open fields and shaded areas, encouraging the students to both relax and enjoy their natural surroundings, and to be active in many different sports.
Much of the beautification of the school was done by the Environment Club.
Also encouraging students athletic ability are the play facilities at the school, the sporting equipment, and activities such as PSSA sport and Circus West.

Also featuring at the Primary department is one of the most technologically advanced computer setups in the city. Here the students learn to use technology and integrate it into their school work.
This can help them to adjust to future schooling and the new technological age at hand.
